I understand on very good authority that very strong recommendations are being officially made from Hongkong to the British Government that the present is a most favourable opportunity to terminate the boycott by threatening immediate blockade of Canton STOP.
The Canton Armies are practically entirely dependent for war materiala on supplies from Russia by sea through Canton and their cessation means certain failure hence any threats of blockade would be imediately effective
In my opinion if we lose this opportunity
